These images are photographed in swimming pools in and around Los Angeles

Cactus Abstraction 27 Surfing in my evolution as aThis picture is part of my Abstract by Nature series. I seek out and photograph very simple natural shapes in this case, one single desert cactus and combine multiple images to create organic and evocative shapes and colors. I'm always concerned about the balance between traditional photography and computer manipulation; this series comes as close to an ideal balance as any Ive ever done.
