Vina Leyda, Rose, 2023 (Case) Red Wine boasting a fresh and herbaceousThe pretty, pale pink colour does not quite prepare you for the explosion of personality on the nose. This is unmistakably, indubitably Pinot Noir (blindfolded, and you might almost think it a red), with creamy cranberry, rosehip, rose petal and just a hint of attractive savouriness. The palate is more straightforward: crisp and tangy, balanced by rounded, creamy texture and lovely, sustained fruit character on the finish. Utter scrumptiousness.
