Description

here's an ornament I made about 25 years ago that is ONE OF A KIND (it was to be the first piece of a line of spun cotton ornaments that I never got around to making)

Here's a mixed media concoction combining a 1950s cream/antique gold metal tabletop easel frame and a mixed media collage

With blonde hair held in place with a gold cord halo

The center rose is of a silky satin while the leaves are ruffled edge French ombre rayon acetate

it definitely is a floral inspired piece of garland

2 Antique Victorian Trade Card for J&P Coats Thread - Lady & Gent Fishing young girl and child here's an ornament I madeC. 1880 or so, here's a pair of Victorian era trade cards one blank with a cropped top edge; the other, full sides, for J&P Coats Threads sold at the Charles F. Sprague Dry Goods emporium. The image to both cards is the same, that of a lady sitting on a blanket with a sewing basket beside her (filled with thread, of course) and her gentleman friend just landing a trout in the stream. An 1880 calendar is on the backs of each. Both cards are very nice
