The wine shows enticing fresh pear and apple aromas with hints of citrus. On the palate it is textural with a clean finish. The style is traditionally suited to short term cellaring and is well matched to rabbit stews, pork roasts, chicken casseroles and hard cheeses. It is best served slightly chilled.
