'Field barn in Summer' Wood Engraving cathedral This particular engraving is numberAn exquisite wood engraving by artist Howard Phipps. The beautifully intricate engraving itself measures just 12. 5cm x 10cm and is mounted in a white mount making its outside dimensions 32cm x 31cm. Howard's wood engravings have been cut on the end grain of a block of very hard Boxwood using very fine tools. The final image is printed by hand using an Albion Press which was made in 1862. The limited editions are printed on either Arches, or Zerkall
