Hundred Suns 'Bednarik Vineyard' Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, USA 2022 California Syrah IN A CLASS OF ITSRooted in marine sedimentary soil deep in the cool coastal foothills, this 6 acre, own rooted vineyard was planted in 1988 by William Bednarik to Pommard and Wdenswil clones of Pinot Noir. A late flowering and the cool conditions of this special site led us to pick this fruit almost two weeks after all our other pinot sites. The extended hang time created a stunning wine with pure Mt. Hood strawberries, cranberry sauce, and fresh, silky tannins.
